Standing before the mirror, between the ideal self and I; there is a constant expectation to live up to the image I see. I find myself constantly creating a new me, driven to fulfill my ambitions.

I’m in love with exploring the balance between form and function. As Frank Lloyd Wright stated, “Form follows function—that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union.” I believe that design isn’t solely  function or beauty; it’s essence lies in creating a seamless relationship between the two, where one cannot exist without the other.

With every new project, I strive to sculpt designs that are not just seen, but felt—where beauty and purpose work together as one.

As the child of Korean immigrants who sought the American dream, I carry forward their values of humility, resilience, and a love for nature. Grounded by these roots, I’m driven to honor their journey by pursuing a path that bridges people and purpose—striving to create a world that values connection, integrity, and the beauty in simplicity.
